We cannot say enough good things about Paradox Productions and DJ Mikey! He went above and beyond every expectation we had and truly made our wedding night unforgettable. From the moment the music started, he knew exactly how to keep the energy going and had everyone out on the dance floor all night long!

DJ Mikey did an amazing job reading the crowd, keeping the party flowing, and making sure there was never a dull moment. Everything was seamless, professional, and so much fun. This is the most amazing DJ you could possibly hire for your wedding or special occasion. It’s hard to describe such a night of pure joy, but I will be sure to attempt it. Justin kept the party going all night long. I can’t remember a moment when the dance floor wasn’t full. And the best part was, it was specifically tailored to us and our taste. My husband and I had custom suits tailored for our wedding, and what our tailor did for our clothes, Justin did for our party.

MC skills were off the hook. We messed up, and forgot to tell him about a guest who was supposed to do a reading, and his ability to pivot and make it blend seamlessly into the entire reception was masterful. When I was about to give my speech, I said “This is gonna sound like an awards ceremony, but the good thing is, no one can play me off with music because it’s my wedding.” I started to talk, and Justin started playing the play off music like at the Oscars. It was hilarious. The room loved it, I loved it, and it shows the care and attention he gave during the party.

Being the groom, I was pulled in 100 different directions. At one point, his assistant came to get me and said “Justin is about to play a mix of three of your favorite songs.” He didn’t want me to miss the moment, and I didn’t. Justin hopped on the dance floor at the end to get our last minute wishes on how to end the party too, which meant the world.

From the planning session, to the app, to the meetings, to every little detail during the ceremony and reception, this was the best DJ experience you can get. If you’re wondering if you should hire Paradox (and Justin specifically), all I can say is please do it. You will never regret it, and you’ll live with the best memories of the most custom night of music of your life!

Will our DJ also MC?

Absolutely. Your DJ confidently guides the celebration without becoming the center of attention.

How do you choose the music?

We combine your preferences with years of experience reading a crowd. Your must‑plays and do‑not‑plays are honored. Everything else is shaped by the room.

Why does Paradox cost more?

Because exceptional entertainment requires more than equipment and a playlist. You’re investing in career artists, preparation, experience, judgment, and a company built to protect your celebration.

When do we meet our DJ?

Gold Standard couples meet their DJ 90 days out. Signature Reserve couples work directly with their chosen artist from day one.

How many hours are included?

Every wedding includes up to 7 hours of music. We arrive at least 2 hours early and need approximately 45 minutes for breakdown. Neither counts toward your 7 hours. Setup and breakdown are always on our time, not yours.

Everything needed for an awesome wedding.

How do payments work?

A 50% retainer reserves your date. The remaining balance is due 90 days before your wedding. Payment plans are available.

Do you travel?

Yes, throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. No travel fees within one hour of Portland or Bend.

The travel fee between Portland and Bend is $250. Other locations are quoted on our call.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry $2 million in liability coverage.

When only one DJ remains available on a date, we stop accepting bookings and pay that artist to remain on standby in case of an emergency.
